Director, Product & Innovation at Team One since July 2026, and as of this fall the owner of the Product function end to end: product owner practice, roadmaps and KPIs, platform prioritization, triage operations, and Product hiring. Product is the single decision owner now. The odd part — and the part I like — is that the scope went up and the hands didn't come off the keyboard. I'm also writing both launch apps for the Toyota GR GT, through AI-assisted engineering, with my PRs reviewed like anyone else's.
- The GR GT launch — implementing the web configurator with live pixel streaming and the in-dealer experience myself (see the prototype that became the launch app)
- Running the Product function — one decision owner, a Product Lead per scrum team, and a Technical PO hire screened on substance
- Lexus.com platform governance — eight teams, one roadmap, and root causes read straight from the repo
- Operationalizing AI at Team One — pilots into production, and the AI Summer Sessions: “plausible is its job. Correct is yours.”
- This site — the October update added Lens, Claim Check, the RCA anthology, and the GR GT work at pattern level
Senior Director or VP roles in product platforms, platform governance, or applied AI implementation — and fractional or advisory work where there is real ownership attached. What burns me out is well documented: translation without authority, innovation without ownership. What I'm looking for is the opposite of that.
